Short Profile:

Jahel Mielke is a researcher and PhD student in the Green Growth process of the Global Climate Forum. She examines stakeholder processes concerning the shift to a low-carbon economy in Europe. Her special focus lies on the role of institutional investors in the energy transition, merging concepts of stakeholder involvement and game theory.

An economist and journalist by training, Jahel previously worked for the national newspaper “Der Tagesspiegel” dealing with economic issues such as trade and financial markets and the labour market. Having studied in Cologne, Bordeaux and Potsdam, she holds a diploma in economics and political science as well as a degree in journalism from the Cologne School of Journalism.
